Draft @ Mikkeller Bar, Copenhagen. Pours a slightly hazy reddish color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty weak smokey aroma with hints of caramel. Fruity malty sweetish smoke flavor with hints of bourbon. Has a fruity malty smoke finish with woody barrel hints in the aftertaste.

Draught @ Brasserie 4:20, Via Portuense 82, Roma, Italy.Clear medium to dark amber color with a small to average, fizzy and open, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, smoke, rubber smoke, sweet candy smoke, brown sugar, light alcohol - bourbon, alcoholic wood - oak. IMO not the smoke i like it is for me way to sweet candy alike sorry ! Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, smoked, rubber sweet smoke, bourbon smoke, sweet candy malt. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light to moderate alcoholic. [20101220]

On tap. Slightly hazy dark amber with a small yellowish/beige head. Some fat bacon smoke in the nose on a bed of caramel. Medium-bodied, sweet caramel, nuts and roasted malt again with a balancing smoky edge. The Bourbon notes are fairly downplayed and appears fairly ate. Ends dry, neither hoppy nor boozy. A very pleasant creation where the smoke ain’t in your face smoky. 181210

Draft. A deep red beer with a rim of beige head. The aroma has notes of smoke, malt, bread, alcohol, and fruits. The flavor is sweet malty and quite smokey with notes of caramel and bread as well as lighter notes of wood, leading to a dry wooody finish.

From tap at MikkellerBar. Pours hazy amber with a small white head. Solid smoked and a promise of something sweet. Solid smoked and quite sweet caramelish. Meaty and smooth bourbon and ham like finish.
