Stunning - one of the many words used to describe Britains Favourite View, here in the Lake District. This light golden, easy drinking ale with its delicate floral and citrus aroma, is as inspiring as the view we celebrate.

Cask at Hamilton Hall, JDW, London. Pours clear yellow-gold with a moderate, frothy white cap. Aroma holds some lemony hops and dry grains and straw. Light sweet flavor with unpleasant, astringent bitterness along with disjointed, dry and lightly sweet dough, grass and straw. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Harsh, grassy bitterness to finish, really astrigent and actually a tall order to drink. Unbalanced, not good.

High bitterness effort from Jennings, and looks good with a golden body but a poor head.

Cask at GBBF 2010. A dark golden beer with a thin yellowish head. The aroma has notes of malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and just a whiff of straw, leading to a dry finish where a light note of citrus fruit appears.
