EKU ist echt eine angestaubte Marke. Ich muss da direkt an Leute in der Nachbarschaft meiner Jugend denken, ne Pulle in der Hand hielten und mit einer Fluppe Ernte 23 auf dem Weg zum Kegeln waren. Aber das ist jetzt auch schon 35 Jahre her.
Also geben wir EKU halt noch ne Chance.
Optisch klares Gold, kaum Perlung, Schaum bricht gleich weg. In der Nase tatsächlich etwas crispy - ist ja schließlich auch das Festbier, Pappa hat sich nicht lumpen lassen.
Im Trunk dann Getreide, fängt gut an, hinten wird’s dann aber wässrig, fast plädderich. Da isser wieder der Kegelabend. Aber zu ner Ernte bestimmt das Highlight des Tages.

One of the better festbiers going here. Malty aroma on a white head and a tan body. Full flavour malty with a hop skin. Makes you want to sing.

From old tasting notes. Bright honey gold color. Fluffy white head. Faint malt aroma. Sweetish malt flavor lacks complexity. Brief malty finish is subtle and plain.

500ml bottle (BB 19th Jul 17), from Beers of Europe and shared with my son on 11th Dec 16. Golden yellow pour, snow white head, that did not last long. Hops just about outplay the light malt content in both the aroma and flavour stakes, decent enough blend with a hay/grassy nature to the whole brew, even though it has a semi-sweetness throughout before the hops produce a slightly bitter and dry finish to each sip or gulp.

Bottle on the what the hell was I think ingredients tour of Bavaria. Clear deep gold lasting white head. Cereal aroma. Decent beer. Some malt some alcohol. Ok. D

Yellow pour with white head and lace. Light caramel malt. Caramel malt and some roastiness. A bit thin and fizzy to me.

Deep blond color. Aroma and flavor are just a bit more malty than any regular beer, but still not enough to upgrade to "good beer" correct bitterness.

Bottle 500ml.Clear medium yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, straw, toasted, malt. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to light moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20101211]

Bottle @ Southern/Western Denmark Gathering , Ulfborg. Pours clear golden with a small creamy white head and lacings. Grainy and grassy. Very dry. Smooth and medium bodied.
