Bottle. Clear, light orange-copper. Medium head. Aroma is light hoppy spiciness with hints of citrus and pine. Taste is a tad sweet up front but with a hoppy-bitter finish.

Poured into a mug, the appearance was a golden bronzed to semi-muddy burnt orange sort of color. Thin cap of a white foamy head. Stringy lace.
The aroma had a semi-sweet grassy to bitter burst of citrusy to earthy hoppiness. Somewhat dirty, but an ample caramel/toffee malt backbone comes in for balancing. Light spicy effect from the fuggles hops.
The flavor yields to the dirty earthy hops. Citrusy bitterness seems a bit in the background. Pleasant earthy to citrusy to malty sort of aftertaste. Seems to pitch some dirt in the finish, left me scratching my beard.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium in body with a fair sessionability to it. Mild carbonation. ABV felt good as suspected.
Overall, English IPA is what this is supposed to be and for the most part it is, but I would rather have one with more of a clean earthiness, less \"dirt\" or no \"dirt\" really. I could name a bunch of other English styled IPA’s even in the American market that I would much rather have than this.

Draft at GBBF 2013, day 3 - London. Pours deep gold with a light cream head. The nose holds cedar, dry citrus, pine. Light sweet flavor with hints of brown sugar, dry wood, spruce. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Dry finish with more spruce, pine, cedar wood, dried orange. Meh, kind of odd. A little too woody.

From cask. Pours hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma is peachy and greasy grapefruity. Bitter, crisp hoppy and light toasted malty. Mango and passion fruity, medium dry and malt is clearly there to balance the hops. Bitter and toasted malty finish.

Bottle pour into pint. Copper color. Not hoppy like American IPAs, but a mellow balance of hops and malts. Full bodied. Went well with my meal of pork loin and home made mac and cheese.

Bottled. Pours clear amber with a thin and quickly dissipating off-white head. The aroma is malty, bready and slightly sweet. The first thing to note in the taste are the malts, with a sweet, bready almost nutty flavor, followed by bitterness from the hops. Lingering aftertaste.
