Good body, malt flavor with burnt elements. Nicely balanced bitterness.

A hazy brown beer with a thin lazing brown head. The aroma is light, but sweet malty, and the flavor is pretty one-dimensional sweet malty, only with hints of caramel.

(Bottle 33 cl) Brown beer, not much head. Very malty and smoked flavours coming closed to being almost burned. Lots of sweetnes and a rather discreet bitterness. Tasty. Another exceptional Norwegian Bock of high quality. 270804

Bottled. Dark brown. Aroma of malt and plums. Roasty and lightly vinous. Fairly light bodied, but with a lot of malt flavour. Dryish, yet with notes of honey and coffee. Not much bitterness. Flavourful and interesting. By far the best Mack beer I’ve had.

Very sweet malt nose. Brown amber, low head. Malt, sweet and roasted, dominates, but a slightly fruity taste comes out in the aftertaste together with a bitterhop exit. Surprisingly weak body and thin mouthfeel. Thanks Sigmund!

Not as good as Aass Bock in any way, considerably thinner, fairly light brown colour, weaker aroma, more of a refreshment beer than a sipping beer, still it's drinkable - probably Mack's best product after all.
