Cask by stillage at One Inn The Wood, Petts Wood on 15th February 2025. Clear copper with shallow off-white ring and spot lacing. Malty aroma. Nutty malts in-mouth with tangy fruits, and a finish of the same. Light bodied with a zingy mouthfeel.

Gravity cask at the Just Reproach, Deal, 04/02/22. Clear golden amber with a decent off white cap that dissipates to a swirl. Nose is nutty, herb, biscuit, straw, hedgerow, dried fruits. Tatse comprises grains, biscuit, straw, dusty fruits. Medium bodied ,soft carbonation, semi drying close. Ok on point bitter.

Cask at the Chelmsford Summer Beer & Cider Festival, Essex. Pours clear pale gold with a lasting off-white head. Aroma of caramel, hop, biscuit and fruit. Medium to heavy sweetness, light bitterness. Medium body, sticky texture, soft carbonation.

Cask at GBBF 2010. A dark golden beer with a thin yellowish head. The aroma has notes of citrusy fruits, malt, and hops. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, and hops. I find it boring.

Cask (handpump) @ GBBF 10, Great British Beer Festival, Earls Court Exhibition Centre, London, England.Clear medium orange yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, fully lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is light moderate malty, toasted, malt, light apple, light hoppy, chamomile tea. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to light moderate bitter with a average to long duration, apple tea. Body is medium to light, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20100803]

Cask@GBBF2010. Yellowish golden colour, small off-white head. Aroma is honey, nectar, fruits, grass and some earth. Flavour is fruits, wood, grass and some mild floral hoppyness.

From cask. Pours clear and golden orange with a small white head. Aroma is roasted malty and slight breadish. Mild fruity and vague citrusy. Bitter and slight malty into the finish. Dry finish.

bow bar edinburgh ... Pale yellow ... light leafy hop ... light fruit hop ... nice hop balance, but not for me.
