500ml bottle from the brewery shop. Poured at home in Jersey. It's golden with a white head. Aromas & tastes of grapefruit, pine, dried fruits, bread & malt. Moderate body. Light bitter finish. Enjoyable

Forholdsvis lesbare notater fra årets GBBF. Fra cask og servert av en sjarmerende bartender i kilt, naturligvis: klar gylden med fint skum som varer. Svært lite aroma (kjenner mest kjeks), men lett og frisk smak av citrus, urter og skog. Slank og med kort ettersmak.

500ml bottle, online from the brewery. Pours pale amber with a cream head. Aroma: grapefruit, pine. The taste follows, light sweet with prominent bitterness, grapefruit citrus, spicy hop. Light to medium body with moderate carbonation.

11th Sep 2015: 500ml bottle poured into an ’Old Speckled Hen’ badged vase shaped pint glass at home in the ’Shires Virtual Bar’ day on the British Forum of RateBeer. Slight haze to the light amber bodied beer, the head soon fell away to a wispy covering from the true head it initially had. The aroma and taste were lending towards the malts more so than the mildly bittering hop content. Toasted semi-sweet maltiness is tempered nicely by the piny hops and the combination sits nicely. A decent thirst quenching blend that filled the lunchtime pint slot very well.
