Honey color with a medium sized white head. Sweetish and toasty with a vegetal note. Long finish. Medium body.

Pretty clear copper and light bronze coloured body with a thin but noticeable just off-white head. Aroma of light bread, some stronger yeast notes, but a lot of subdued sugars and especially toasted grain with a dash of nuttiness on the finish. Light to Medium-bodied; Relatively strong earthy, nutty and rustic malts really shine through here with a lot of toasted qualities and a good deal of supportive sugars with the faintest hit of German and low alpha acid hops at the very end. Aftertaste shows a relatively smooth and easy-drinking Marzen with the good malt elements throughout, a slight nuttiness and rustic quality, but support from light sugars and lighter hops makes this robust throughout. Overall, a nice Marzen with the flavours that you'd expect and while this is a bit nutty and earthy, the sugars help round out the bitterness. Good to sample, especially since I haven't seen this locally! I sampled this twelve ounce can, given to me after one of my hockey games on 07-September-2022, sampled on the roof of the rink - Thanks Jacob!
