Cask-conditioned at the Seven Stars, Bristol 7/5/2013. Amber with a slight, off-white head. Biscuity malts, a touch of citrus hops, some fruity sweetness and a decent bitter finish. Good.

Cask gravity at Reading BF 2010. OK toasty beer. Not hugely hoppy, some dryness, but mostly toasted biscuit. Rather a nice session bitter.

Cask at the Kingston Arms, Cambridge. Gold with a thin off-white head; malty aroma; thin and watery with caramel malts and some red fruit flavours; the finish is slightly sour, long and spicy. OK, but not an IPA.
