Cask-conditioned at the Seven Stars, Bristol 7/5/2013. Amber with a slight, off-white head. Biscuity malts, a touch of citrus hops, some fruity sweetness and a decent bitter finish. Good.

Cask (gravity) @ The 16th Reading Beer and Cider Festival 2010, Reading, Berkshire England.Clear medium yellow orange color with a small to average, frothy, good to fair lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, nutty, moderate hoppy, grapefruit, hop oil. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20100430]

Cask gravity at Reading BF 2010. OK toasty beer. Not hugely hoppy, some dryness, but mostly toasted biscuit. Rather a nice session bitter.

Cask at the Kingston Arms, Cambridge. Gold with a thin off-white head; malty aroma; thin and watery with caramel malts and some red fruit flavours; the finish is slightly sour, long and spicy. OK, but not an IPA.
