Keg at restaurant in Karlsruhe . Unfiltered gold look. Quite thick drinking. Unremarkable taste. Fun to have a maß but too chunky for that.

Tap at the brewery. Cloudy, pale gold with a low, fine head. Worty, tangy nose, lemon, apple, grain. Creamy and tangy, grainy flavor. Soft, creamy pallate. Low carbonation. Interesting, but too sweet and worty.

0.5l bottle. Slightly hazy golden body with a dense white head. Aroma of bread, hay, honey and phenols and floral hops. Taste of bread, honey, hay, apples and floral hops. Great kellerbier.

gift from kapusil, many thanks! hazy yellow colour, medium sized dense white head; aroma of grains, wet bread, barnyard and earthy notes, maybe some peach-like fruitiness, too; taste of malty-syrupy (honey) sweetness, some fresh hops, minimal spiciness and even some mild souris notes; very refreshing kellerbier! I like it!

0,5 l bottle from Kristall-König. Thanks a lot! Unclear golden in the glass, foamy two finger white head. Sweet grassy on the nose. Taste starts with Caramell sweetness, low fruity in the background. Smooth. Hints of honey in the background. Low crisp bitterness to the end.

On tap the at the brewpub in Karlsruhe . 22/07/2015 Three days after the Etape du Tour. Hazed yellow / straw coloured pour with a lasting white frothy. Aroma is big sweet, cereal grains, grainstore, slight wort. Flavour is composed of sweet cereal, corn, cereal grains, slight apple, yeast bite, light, metallic finish. . Palate is semi, I sweet, crisp, moderate carbonation.
