31 July 2019. At Bar Beenhouwer, Ghent. Cheers, Anke & Pieter! 33cl can. Pours hazy yellow with a lasting, thin, unstable, frothy, off-white head. Aroma of physalis, yellow peach, yellow grapefruit, mandarin, passionfruit, breadcrust, pine. Taste is light to medium fruity sweet, a bit tropical, hinting at peach & pineapple, supplemented by bitter & hoppy pine, grapefruit, mandarin rind, all the while somewhat yeasty & bready, rye-like almost. Touch of sourish lime too. Dry, earthy hoppy finish, lingering yellow fruit & yeast. Medium body, slick-oily texture, soft carbonation. Hugely drinkable ISA, nice.

[33cl can from Tesco, Warfield.] A hazy pale amber pour with a trace of translucent head; tropical fruit aroma; sweet tropical fruit taste; but little else. Not the best Session IPA.

A perfectly acceptable SIPA, nothing more, nothing less. Light, very easy drinking, lightly hoppy, smooth and refreshing. Subtle bitterness, something fruity in the hops (grapefruit?). Quite oaty, though. Body is good enough for the ABV, maybe a bit safe.

RB backlog. Tingling mary jane, citrus, grass, light bread crust. Starts with faint sweetness, pearly carbonation takes over, slight hop burn that fits quite well, minerals and medium, soft bitterness. Fairly complex.
