Bottle. It’s an almost clear one, amber to brown in color and with a finger-thick beige head on top. The aroma has caramel, citrus peel and pine cones, the hops doing the largest percentage of the work. It’s bitter and citrusy on the palate, with a light caramel maltyness. Full body, pleasant carbonation. The finish is bitter and fruity, with malts in the back. A beer that lacks a bit on complexity, but it’s sure a decent one anyway. 140207

0.33l bottle. This is a clear really good looking deep raw amber colored one and it has a super lacing medium sized beige head. On the nose I get a nice light sweet, perhaps a bit of roasted caramel, malty goodness and a little bit of rye bread. Not to extreme but definitely nice enough. It actually tastes a bit pilsner-ish. Light oily in the mouth and it has a below average carbonation level. Quite nutty yeasty this. It has a little bit of cold coffee bitterness with a soft metallic aftertaste. Mild, a bit blend and even a bit boring. 13.11.2013

330ml bottle bought at Vinmonopolet Langnes Tromsø. Frothy off-white head. Clear ruby coloured body. Dark grapefruits and orange nose with a malty support. Spiced citrus taste mixed with caramel and ash. Smooth bittersweet ending. Medium bodied. Fits the season (Tromsø 07.02.2014).
Gav meg ikke den julete følelsen, men forøvrig et greit øl.

Brown color with generous beige head. The aroma is soapy and metallic. Dry mouthfeel, some dark caramel flavor, but also dirty water and a metallic finish; ordinary bitterness; a bit ashy in the final.
Not very good.

12.11.2013, 0,33l bottle @ home:
Nice slightly bubbly longlasting head. Aroma is slightly fresh hoppy, caramel malts, hops, lawn, leafs, hints of dried fruits and coffee. Taste is slightly harsh grassy, caramel malts, hops, pine needles, leafs, grass, coffee. Longlasting mild bitterness, slightly dry mouthfeel. Boring.

33cl bottle from a trade with Cunningham - thanks!. Pours clear mahogany with a small, tan head. Hoppy and fruity aroma with pine, spices, dark malt, caramel and hints of tropical fruits and citrus. Medium sweet with lovely hoppy flavours and a quite decent bitterness. A nice surprise and a very tasty brew. Well balacent and quite delicious!

Shared 330 ml bottle. ABV is 6.2%. Beautiful ruby colour, moderate beige head. Nice aroma, malty first with notes of brown bread and caramel, then the Galaxy and Nelson Sauvin hops come through with fruity notes. The flavour is well hopped throughout, but still not very bitter, on a distinctly malty base with brown bread and caramel again. Not too sweet though, quite nice.
