Pistonhead is coming on a snowy winter day. Sweeping down the chimney in a hot rod open sleigh. Kustomized with plenty of our favorite hops: Tomahawk, Cascade and the lots. To each and everyone, a Merry Christmas from the Pistonhead Crew!

330 ml bottle bought @ Systembolaget and consumed on November 21. Pours chestnut brown with a light brown head that leaves lots of trace on the glass while dissipating. Smell is slightly sweet, malty and refreshing with bergamot oil, resin, lemon zest and orange zest. there is also a slight staleness to the smell but it’s well hidden under the layers of hops. Taste is slightly sweet, slightly sour and quite bitter with pine, resin, unripe peaches and lots of citrus zest. There’s also some slight notes of coffee and that staleness from the smell that carries on to the taste. Finish is slightly sweet and slightly bitter. Quite good considering who makes it.

330ml Bottle - Copper with a foamy head. Fruity and malty aroma with notes of caramel, dried fruit and a hint of citrus. Fruity and hoppy taste with a good malt backbone and notes of dried fruit, marzipan, toffee and grapefruit. Not bad and quite nicely balanced.

Bottled. A deep red beer with a brown head. The aroma has strong notes of hops primarily lending it flowery notes, but also lighter notes of dust and citrus fruits, combined with a note of caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, dusty hops, and caramel, leading to a dry finish. The body is light.
