A can at home picked up from marble online. A mostly clear medium mahogany brown coloured pour with a lasting tidy beige head. Aroma is layered malts, roasty toasty malts, twiggy, bark, woodland walk. Palate is semi sweet, malt tannin, moderate carbonation. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, roasted malts, toasted bread, fruit loaf, raisin,. Lingering roast, light Ash. Really punchy mild.

Tap at Winter Affair 2026 - ideal beer to start the third session with! Misty brown body, off-white head. Nutty maltiness in the aroma, dried fruit, lean and dry. Lean, dry caramelly, woody taste, low dried fruit, light grapes, ending dry and bitterish. Fun, tasty, good one!

500ml can, nice to see Marble canning the trad styles as well now. Pours a deep ruby/brown with a dense beige head. Aroma of caramel, chocolate, slightly nutty, dried fruits. Taste is the same, very malty, good depth of flavour for the style and strength, caramel, dried fruits, chocolate, slightly nutty, light bitter finish. Medium bodied. Very good.
