Backlog April 2018. Clear amber body under a big, dense beige head. Lovely aroma of dark malt, dry fruit and caramel. Taste is very smooth with rich, soft, sweet malt, dry fruit, caramel, moderate bitterness and well hidden alcohol. Ful bodied and long lasting aftertaste.

Drank on August 21, 2020. Pours dark amber-brown with no head. It smells of caramel malt and dark fruit. The flavor is very sweet with lots of caramel and some of that dark fruit coming through. Full bodied. It's good though I was hoping for truly great. I wonder if it was better a few years earlier.

Flaska från SB, drucken som Traquair 2010 (dvs från 2012). Tack Samuel214. Mörk mahogny med krämbeige krona. Torkad frukt, lite madeiraiserade toner, engelsk fruktkaka, lite kartong, bröstkaramell, lätt menthol-ton, karamelliserat socker, lite torra och rostade toner och nästan lite rökigt i utandningen. Vissa ålderstecken och något uttunnad. Lättdrucken och de tio procenten märks överhuvudtaget inte av.

KØLF 060418. Dark brown color with a beige head. Aroma is malt, fruit, caramel. Flavor is malt, fruit, caramel, alcohol, berries, sugar. Full body. Nice beer.

Bottle pours out amber with some red highlight topped with a small head. Nose is big sweet malts caramel toffee and some light spice. Tatse is more of the nice sweet malts toffee notes and a touch of peat.

Has a wonderful aroma of caramel, toffee, nutmeats, barest hint of peat. Flavor’s a lot more bold - similar to nose, but sweet more than bitter, very slight carbonic tang, a little cocoa, dark ripe fruit, balanced. Very clean and easy drinking. Just a hint of the alcohol. Nice stuff.

Bottle. Pours a cloudy copper with small beige head leaving spotty lacing. The aroma is a strong roast and toffee. Thin mouthfeel with a brown sugar caramel, dark fruit, figs, a bit oxidized.

Bottle at Craig’s. Pours dark red brown with a thin off-white head. Aromas of almonds, dried fruit. Taste is sweet, light booze, more fruit. Texture is oily, medium body. Sticky, rich finish. Good.
