Bottle 33 cl. Chestnut color, clear, with good creamy-yellow foam. Aroma: sweet, caramel, dried fruits, a little cake, burnt sugar, a little wine, toffee. Taste: sweet, caramel, burnt sugar, lively carbonation, a little wine, muffins, mild bitterness, a little out of balance.

Appearance: Clear chestnut brown with a one finger tall off-white head of mediocre retention. Aroma: Toast and caramel, dried fruit, esters, moderate phenols and some Belgian yeast. Taste: Light to medium sweet, dark malts, esters, dried fruit, apricot jam, some treacle, distant hop. Low bitterness. Mouth feel: Medium minus body, average carbonation. Summary: not an outstanding Belgian ale.
