33cl flip-top bottle (as Palmbräu Unser Bestes Spezial Pils) recieved as a gift. Pours clear golden with a rather modest, white head. Mild malty aroma with faint grassy and herbal notes and hints of ripe fruits. Moderate sweet with relatively low flavour intensity and ditto bitterness, but clean and easy to drink.

0,33 bottle. I received it as a gift in a nice buckled .33 bottle, thank you for this as well. When filled, it is golden yellow in color, with quite large bubbles, which is why a nice large foam quickly halved when filling, but it still remained on it. Aroma: German malty sweet aroma, hops are more in the background, but there is a faint spiciness. Taste: fine, not too bitter, it does not reach the level of a pilsner, the hops are more citrusy, with a naturally sweet malty base flavor. Medium carbonation, medium body, fresh feeling, overall a good thirst quencher. A completely okay German pilsner. The aftertaste is particularly good.

Szép csatos ,33-as üvegben kaptam ajándékba, köszönöm ez úton is. Kitöltve aranysárga szín, elég nagy buborékokkal, ami miatt a kitöltéskor szép nagy hab hamar megfeleződött, de azért maradt is rajta. Illat: német malátás édeskés illat, komló inkább háttérben, gyenge fűszeresség érződik azért. Íz: finom, nem túl keserű, pilseni szintet nem éri el, inkább citrusosságban érződik a komlózás, természetesen édes malátás alapíz mellett. Közepes szénsavasság, közepes test, friss érzés, összességében jó szomjoltó. Teljesen rendben lévő német pilsner. Utóíz kifejezetten jó.

Palmbräu Unser Bestes, 5,3 %, Fläschchen von Getränke Ley, Wallhausen. - Goldgelb, fast klar. - In der Nase weiche aber aromatische, leicht exotische zitrusfruchtige Hopfung, Rhabarber, zartes helles Malz mit Traubenzucker. - Antrunk satt und weich hellmalzig mit feinem hellen Malz, Zwickel-artig trotz nicht sichtbarer Hefe. Dezente aber schöne zitrusfruchtige Hopfung, leicht Pale-Ale-artig (das Etikett spricht von Kalthopfung mit Saphir und Kazbek). Milder rezent, vollmundig, angenehm mineralisch. Im Abgang zarte, elegant grasige Herbe. - Wenig pilstypisch aber sehr schmackhaft in seiner weichen, gut ausgereiften Malzigkeit und seiner milden aber eleganten Hopfung. (19.10.2021.)

Beugelbuddel: Golden to deep golden, lazy carbonation, mid-sied white and lacy head; sweetish-grainy nose, faint fruity traces(raspberries!?!?), some herbal-bitter hops in the second row;; barely moderate bitter-sweet flavour, barely medium bodied, but at least quite soft; slightly stronger hoppy influences in the pale-malty and bitter finish. Nice session beer, but pretty unexciting. Unser Bestes…???

Thanks to quack-duck for that one! Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass zippy, nice small head. Starts mild, malty, modest spicy. Light fruity hints of lemon. Well balanced finish. Quite drinkable. Average.
