Draught @ the brewpub in Freiburg im Breisgau. Pours hazy dark straw with airy but stable white head. Clear aroma of hops, with notes of yeast and touches of malt. Seeetish flavour of maæt and yeast, with bitterish notes of hops. Estery and malty aftertaste with mild bitter hints. Perfectly balanced andbvery nice for an unfiltered Pilsener.

Von Fass at the brewery’s biergarten. Cloudy golden-orange with a low, thick head. Lemon and oranges in the nose, yeasty biscuts. Sweet and malty flavor, fruity, a touch of dms that seemed somehow to fade. Soft carbonation and a light citrusy tang. Pretty nice and kind of typical unfiltered BW pils. Needed a bit more lagering time, I felt, but they must be rushing for the summer crowds. Still, quite nice.

13.07.2018 -- on tap at the biergarten, 2.90€/0.33l. a cloudy pale golden with a dense steady head and a nice lacing. aroma of apricots, apricot kernels, almonds, flowers. flavour of banana, cereals, butter, grains, grass. nice and aromatic.
