12th April 2010. Clear amber beer. Tiny white head. Smooth palate - almost soft, Light sweet aromatic malt. Subtle floral notes and nice creamy nutty flavours. Just a dash of orangey hop in finish. A little off the beaten track. A bit dry but smooth and sweet.

[Gravity cask at Back of Beyond, Reading] Murky orange, thin white head. Sweet and rather cloying from the off; apple and caramel, toffee and banana. Earthy bitterness comes through in the finish, but not enough to balance the sweetness. A bit like a sweet belgian ale mixed witha hefe and a traditional British bitter. A really odd beer; I couldn’t decide if I liked it or not.

Cask at The Penny Black, JDW, Bicester, Oxon, 14-04-10 Pours amber with a white head, touch of haze. This is heavy in the mouth, its fine, but quite thick and cloyingly sweet, alcohol shows. Some fudge flavours come through, a ’One Trick Pony’ but interspersed with sips from the Brewdog Trashy Blond it makes for quite an interesting experience. A6 A3 F6 P3 Ov13 3.0

Cask handpull at Samuel Peto, JDW, Folkestone. Copper brown colour with lasting cream head. Sweet fruit salad on the flavour. No faults in brewing just terribly sweet and too sweet to be pleasant.
