Double Mocha Porter is a huge mouthful of malt and hops, with notes of bitter rich chocolate. This porter is the creme de la creme.

Malts: C120, C150, Kiln Coffee, Black, Chocolate and Rogue Micro Barley Farm Risk™ malts.
Hops: Summit and Rogue Micro Hopyard Willamette.
Yeast & Water: Rogue’s Pacman Yeast and Free Range Coastal Water.

Bottled. Poured dark with a somewhat bubbly tan head. Deeply dark choco and coffee aroma with similar taste and clean hops to end.

Bottle at le mondiale 2011. Jet black pour with a light mocha head. Big big aroma of piney, resinous west coast high alpha hops. Some big roasted malts also. Licorice, soy and espresso are also very present. Full bodied, viscous, and palate coating. Very dry bitter finish.

Bottle. Deep brown/black opaque liquid with medium tan head. Aroma of chocolate, pine, fresh coffee, licorice, candy and dark fruit. Taste is dry and light to medium bitter with some dry chocolate, licorice and coffee. Medium bodied with medium carbonation. Nice.

Bottle. Pours dark opaque brown with a medium tan quickly diminishing head with some lacing. Aroma is coffee, dark chocolate and dark roasted malts. Flavor is medium sweet and alcoholic with a light coffee bitterness that carries through to the finish. Lightly astringent.

750ml bottle poured into a snifter. Pours black with about 2 fingers of dark tan head. Aroma of coffee, chocolate and roasty malt. Taste is light bitter. Starts with coffee and chocolate and ends with some nice piney hops. Medium bodied with a somewhat thin texture. Soft carbonation and a very long finish. Overall, very good. I would gladly drink this again.

Bottled. A pitch black beer with a thin brown head. The aroma has notes of chocolate and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of roasted malt, alcohol, whiskey, and chocolate, leading to a dry finish.

75 cL bottle. Pours hazy dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma is smooth roasted malty and light caramelish. Roasted, caramelish and light toasted malty. Bitter, chocolate and smooth dark malty finish.

pitch dark , smooth light brown head. roasted malts ,chocolate, dry, aroma. flavor is roasted malts, licorice, coffee powder, bitterness ends it okay.
