My first southern star beer. From a 12 oz can, nice logo. Smell is quite present and lemony or citrusy er sumthin. A little strong for a blond at over 5%. Color is that of a darker hefe. Interesting background of fruit I think. Strong but not overly bitter. Goes down fairly easy. Not bad overall. Decent beer experience except that it doesn’t hide the alky well. Would taste much better with a little less alky.

Can. Ahazy dark golden beer with an orangey head. The aroma has notes of fruit and malt. The flavor is sweet and sour with notes of malt, something skunky, and wheat, leading to a dry finish. The body is light.

Appearance: Slightly cloudy golden with a nice sized white head and some lacing left in the glass
Aroma: Semi sweet malts, honey and straw
Taste: Full and smooth mouthfeel. Pale malts, biscuity with some citrus hop bitterness in the finish
This is a very nice beer, clean and refreshing. Wish I could get this locally.

Can 12fl.oz.Clear medium orange yellow color with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, caramel notes, moderate hoppy, orange - citrus. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, fruity - citrus. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20101102]

Courtesy of markwise. Can pours hazy gold with white head. The aroma has grainy notes, floral hops and a dash of earthiness and citrus. The taste is sweet with malts and then graininess followed closely by slivers of floral hops and faint earthy and spicy hops. Pleasing brew.

can, pours hazy gold with a medium white head. Aroma is cereal and pale malts. Sweet hay and grass with a rather refreshing cream ale kind of finish that is lightly peppery and citrus with mellow hops. Nice flavor.

Can thanks to maltomeal. Pours a clear gold with visible carbonation and a medium bubbly white head. Aroma has some earthy hops and grainy malts with notes of biscuits. Flavor is similar to the aroma with underlying earthy hops with a more dominant biscuit note.

12oz can shared at the DC Local tasting. Pours a hazy golden, yellow with a creamy, lacing white head. Aroma is sweet and grassy. Flavor is sweet, some light citrus, grass. Finish is crisp and slightly sweet.
