Sample courtesy of Grumbo, cheers! Aroma is very funky and woody fleshy apple. Taste is full of apple and vanilla, limited carbonation but there is the undertones of the warm rum alcohol. Very good.

500ml bottle @ The Crown, Oakengates, shared with Soph with the local nutter keeping an eye on us. Lightly misty gold. Good natural fruit nose. Firm natural apple fruit, a little fleshy, juicy with mild rum barrel influence providing gentle vanilla and oak warmth. Soft tannic finish. Really good.

Bottle from the Bristol Cider Shop. ABV was at 6.5% on this batch C4 16. It pours lightly hazy bright and no head. The aroma is earhy, musty, funky, light manure, farmyard, apple skin and light vanilla. The taste is crisp, bitter, earthy, some tartness, wood, tannins, apple skin, apple pie, some lemony sherbet, rice pudding, vanilla and a touch of acidity with a firmly dry finish. Meidum bodied and flat. Understated, yet complex. Pretty delicious.

Bottle from Bristol Cider Shop as "Broome Farm Headless Man". Golden in colour with a few bubbles. Slightly sour crab apple fruit, with some creamy oak and sickly vanilla. Flavour was more pleasant, with some medium dry fruit, a touch of syrup and a slightly prickly medium finish with some warming rum and more vanilla. Not for me.
