Backlog June 2015. Almost clear red body with just a hint of a fast-disappearing white head. Rather strong honey aroma with flowers, red berries and vinous alcohol. Taste is sweet and fruity mead, flowers, light spicy and alcohol. Fine body and same aftertaste. Quite sweet, but better than expected.

Bottle @ Papsø. Served warm. Pours a clear reddish color with no head. Has a fruity spicy honey aroma. Sweetish spicy honey flavor. Has a spicy warming honey finish.

Bottle 750ml. [ Served more than papsoe warm - aprox 60 C >;o(*) ]. Clear medium to dark red color with virtually none head. Aroma is moderate honey, cherry, raisin, almonds, more or less like glugg. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light light berry acidic with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat. [20101024]

Bottle 75 cl. Courtesy of fiulijn. Pours a clear dark brown - no head. Sweet cherry aroma. Medium body, discreet carbonation, sweet cherry notes, some spices. There’s a vague underlying tartness. Drinkable though. 241010

Bottled. Thanks to fiulijn and Papsoes fridge that cooled it down to 270 degrees Kelvin. A deep red mead. The flavor is sweet with notes of fruit and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and caramel, leading to a dry finish.

75 cL bottle, warm. Pours clear and golden red with a small white head. Aroma is fruity and spiced. Cloves and cinnamon. Sweet, fruity and mild spiced. Cloves and cinnamon. Raisin sweet. Honey herbal and mild fruity. Nice and lingering into the finish.

Red color, like clear strawberry and berry juice. Actually mixing the cherry syrup with the spices doesn’t work out very well, resulting in a rather soapy aroma. The flavor as well is unimpressive, where the honey doesn’t appear, instead it’s just like a sweet cherry juice with spices, and with a feeling of alcohol; the body is quite lean, and the final is a bit tannic. Uninteresting.
