11/7/2025. Bottle shared by Robin, cheers! Bright pour but head was short lasting. Syrupy, sweet malts, cardboard, corn aroma. Sweet with mild bitterness. Doesn’t impress like its namesake.

Bottle. Gold in color with a wimpy head. Aroma is weak and watery. Taste is a weak attempt at a beer.

Bottle. Pours a light straw with a gold hue and a white head that dissipates quickly to the edges. Aroma has light corn and strong straw with a bit of grain underlying. Flavor a has lots of straw with a bit of grain and a slight earthy corn underlying.

650 ml bottle at the Korma Sutra restaurant in Lenexa, Kansas. The pour is a clear golden with a foamy white head that falls quickly. The aroma is some grain and general malt sweetness. The taste is cereal grain, slightly artificial sweet malt, finishes with more sweet and ever so slightly dirty. The palate is light to medium bodied with low carbonation and the sweet slightly dirty finish.

Really refreshing while also being malt forward and light. I forgot to order Indian food for this but I'd take it over any macro American stuff still.

From an Indian mart in the East Village: pours golden with a white head. Aroma is industrial lager, vague adjuncts. Taste is sweet, light grainy. Not terrible with spicy Sri Lankan food.
