Appearance: foggy copper colour. small off-white head of low retention. Aroma: caramel, candied citrus, dried figs and dates, esters, nuts. Taste: medium sweet, dense malts. Caramel, dried figs and dates, candied citrus, esters, nuts. Some hop. Light ending bitterness. Mouth feel: full body. Soft carbonation. Summary: a lot of flavour and body. Would use more hops in my opinion. Still, considering it's an English barley wine, it's absolutely OK.

33 cl bottle. Copper-amber color, yellowish foam. Aroma: sweet, candy, dense and thick malt, a little flower honey, light dried fruits, a little halva, raisins and dessert wine. Taste: very sweet, candy, dessert wine, yellow raisins, dried apricots, heady, bitter finish. Good.
