Clear amber brown beer. Light cream coloured head. Softish light palate. Nicely balanced soft malt and reasonable hop presence. A decent bitter but doesn’t quite escape the shackles of English Bitter Blandness syndrome!

Cask-conditioned at the Commercial Rooms (JDW), Bristol 11/04/10. Dark amber in colour with an off-white head. Bready malts, a touch of sweetness, and brooding, lengthy bitter finish. Not my kind of beer.
