The beer in the glass is bright, a bit too bright, I think. The taste is medium dry, leaving the unbalanced somehow. The drinkability is kept within limits. An average beer!

Draught at the Wolfbräu Wirsthaus, Karlsruhe
Blond color. The aroma is very light. There is some malt flavor, not bad, dry, and with light honey aroma and flavor, but also with an horrible metallic finish.

Bottle, from trade with fonefan. As Wölfle. A clear, pale golden one, a small, white head. on top. Weak aroma, some hops and fruityness and hints of pale malts. Pleasant carbonation, medium body. The flavor has a pleasant piney, grassy bitterness, with pale malts and hay. Lasting bitterness in the end. Well, far from superb, but it’s not much interesting in any way. 110516

[I noted this one as Das Grosse Pils] A pale yellow beer with a white head. The aroma is sweet with light citrus notes. And the flavor also has a good presence of citrus from aroma hops, but it also has a good bitter end. OK Pils.

(Bottle 50 cl) Pours pilsener golden with a creamy, white head. Lightly floral - almost perfumy - hoppy nose. Medium body with lightly sweet malt and some lovely floral accents. Hoppy finish. Very nice and very fresh. 190206
