Bottle, thanks Franz. Hazy dark amber with medium beige head. Aroma is clean yeasty stuff, some nuts maybe. Not sure about banana. Taste is quite sour in an awkward soapy way with not much else. Good drinkability but thin body, watery. The soap is not that bad. Overall still OK.

Bottle: Golden, hazy, bigger fluffy to creamy head; quite distinctive phenolic-clovey nose with a touch of bananas; moderate sweet-sourish flavour, light to medium bodied; grainy-wheaty finish with only a tinge of cloves in the aftertaste. Average Weizen.........

(bottle) Cloudy, pale golden colour with a giant foamy white head. Quite phenolic nose with cloves and band aid while fruity esters and wheaty notes stay permanently in the background. Sweet and slightly sour flavour, light to medium bodied with a lively carbonation. In contrast to its aroma the taste surprisingly grainy and wheat-malty, but again with a rather restrained fruit-character; moderately sweet wheaty and slightly sour finish. Ordinary Wheat (10.06.08).
