Tap at brewpub in Karlsruhe. Only one I rated here but saison was probably best. Dunkel was somewhat murky brown but easy drinking. No aroma or noticeable taste.

On tap at the brewpub. Fast klare dunkel orange goldene Farbe, mittelgroße beige schaumkrone. Geruch karamellig, rotes malz. Geschmack karamellig , süß malzig, rotes malz, okay.

On tap the at the brewpub in Karlsruhe . 22/07/2015 Three days after the Etape du Tour. Reddy amber coloured pour with a lasting frothy light cream coloured pour. Aroma is sweet malt, jammy fruits, some stale grains, toast and light caramel. Flavour is composed of nutty raisin, toast, honey, sweet, some cara-munich malts. Palate is semi-sweet, medium body, highish carbonation, slightly creamy.

Brown color with a small head. Caramel and toasted malt nose. Same applies to the taste.

almost the same as the hell, but with some chocolate malt notes. The beers aren’t that individualistic at this place

Wenig karamellig-röstiger Beginn, geringe und angenehme Bitterkeit. Der Hopfen dazu steigt, erfrishcend. Nun röstiger, gering hopfig, dafür bitterer. Gut. 11/11/10/11//11

Draught at the bräuhaus
Beautiful mahogany color with red shades; creamy head. Nice aroma, nutty caramel and a touch of fudge. Good caramel flavor, light roasted nuts, a bit sweet; also a light buttery note; it’s clear by now that there is a good amount of diacetyl here. The bitterness is quite low. As I’m not put off by diacetyl, while I prefer sweet beers, I appreciate this one.

Draught @ Badisch Brauhaus, Stephanienstrasse 35-43, Karlsruhe, Baden-Wurttemberg, Germany 76133.Light unclear medium to dark brown amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, burnt caramel, light to moderate caramel, light roasted, fruity, orange - citrus. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, burnt caramel bitter, orange fruit. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20100928]
