On tap at Vetter's, Alt Brauhaus Heidelberg, Saturday 26th March 2019, a night stopover en route to our new home in Attenkirchen, Bavaria. Pours light gold, very pale, soft mouthfeel, white head. It's fine but on the malty ever so slightly sweet side, I prefer crisp, flinty and dry.

Tap at the brewpub. Labeled “Helles Pils.” Malt nose, very cold. Lemony, more yeasty keller character. Crisp yet full, sweet but finished bitter and dry. Bread / biscuit, peppery, lemony hops.

Draught in the brauhaus. Cloudy gold with a medium head. Aroma of butter malt. Flavour is sweet malt, grain on a lemon finish.

On tap at the brewpub. Fast klare hell goldgelbe Farbe,mittelgroße weiße schaumkrone. Geruch mild hopfig, leicht getreidig. Geschmack sehr hopfig, grasig, floral, leicht getreidig.

1l flip-top bottle "Vetter Hausbrauer Bier". no significant bitterness, so I guess it is a helles and not a pilsner.. pours hazy sunny yellow with a medium white head and some lacing. fresh floral aroma. flavour lemon, grains, dough, somewhat sour (but it might be because my bottle is out of date). crisp dry finish. edit: on tap at brewpub. some sulphuric hops on the nose. flavour of lemon and dough. not too sour, refreshing.

On tap. Grainy yeasty aroma with grassy hop notes. Hazy, light yellow color, creamy white head. Grainy/bready flavor, grassy, light sourflavor.

300ml vom fass at the brewpub. Hazy pale yellow. Tiny layer leaving dotted spots to the glass. Mild ripe fruity aroma. Moderate flavours profile containing banana sweetness, dough, and a drop of lemon. Mostly dry ending, some bitter fruity hints. Easy going (Heidelberg 25.07.2014).
