On tap. Clear orangey brown with an off-white head. Sweetish aroma of burned caramel. Full-bodied, low in carbonation, burned caramel and roasted malt, some dried fruit also. Somewhat sulphurous finish. 160509

Ruby brown with a lasting off-white head. Aroma of caramel, apple peel, and alcohol. Bready and caramel malt flavour with too much hot alcohol. Somewhat strongly (clearly English) hopped and doesn’t taste quite balanced. Might very well age into something much better.

Bottle at Kolding ølmesse, 2009. Pours dark unclear amber with a small bubbly head. Lots of sweet malts. Roast, caramel, bread and alcohol. Full bodied. Warming end which has a pleasant hoppy touch.

50 cL bottle. Pours almost clear and deep golden amber with a small yellowish head. Dense malty aroma with a nice roasted note. Flavour is smooth malty, light caramel to breadish and with a nice hops counterbalance. Nice level of bitterness before and into the finish which in an impressive way match the malt profile.
