6/II/21 - 50cl waxed bottle from Bierhalle Deconinck (Vichte), shared @ home, BB: 1/IV/19 (2021-116)
Clear deep gold blond beer, big fizzy irregular white head, unstable, falls down quickly, non adhesive. Aroma: lots of brett, earthy, lemony touch, some wood notes, smells a bit like oxidized frying grease (snack bar aroma). MF: very lively carbon, medium to full body. Taste: lots of funk, pretty sweet as well, nice bitterness, a bit musty, damp cellar character, hint of citrus, wood notes, some tannins, grape peel. Aftertaste: pretty bitter, dry, funky, lots of brett, tannins, dry and bitter finish, very nice one!

Bottle at Jim’s back tasting! Hazy very pale golden with big white head. Spicy yeast, soft sweet bready malts, light champagne indeed, soft Brett, alcohol, orange, white grapes. Over medium sweet, under medium bitter and sour. Over medium bodied with fizzy carbonation. Like a slightly sour Duvel maybe. Slightly too alcoholic maybe but quite nice.
