(Bottle, 0.33 l - BB 17/08/14, courtesy of VastActiv, 20141122) The beer poured very pale golden and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had paper, cardboard and sweetness. Palate was light bodied with high carbonation. Flavours were sweetness, paper, cardboard and bitterness. Aftertaste was papery and bitter. A poor pale lager.

33 cl bottle @ VastActiv, BBE 17.08.2014
Aroma is musty with wet paper and some grain. Also hints of honey. Flavour has grass, some mint, grain and hints of malt. Feels a bit leathery. Not as bad as I expected, got worse at the end of the glass though.

65cl bottle from an African restaurant in Wuppertal. Smooth grainy beginning. Fresh, easy to drink, but not deep. Grainy, sweetish, hints of corn. The aftertaste is smooth, sweetish, not too deep. Slightly bitter, grainy. Not too bad...

Poura a clear golden color, topped with decent white head that completely disappears in a moment. There is a very mild malty aroma and slight dust. Not much there. The taste is sweet, light and slightly cardboardy, but it has some nicely bitter finish and sweet aftertaste.

Pale golden colour, white head. Aroma of malts, hay and straw. Sweet malty flavour, corn. Finish corn, light hops, quite sweet. Another country, another tick.

65cl bottle @ RBBWG III, thanks Tderoeck. BB 05/2014. Dorée, col blanc moyen. Bière sèche avec pas mal de pétillant, note de maïs, pâle et ce fini métallique typique. Retrouve très peu de caractère au niveau des houblons. Ok, mais franchement rien de spécial.

65 cl. bottle sampled @ RBBWG 2014. Courtesy of & thx! to tderoeck. BBF 05/2014 – I believe it was. Pale apple juice with white bubbles for a head. Nose is oddly very sweet, sweet apples, aspartame-type sweeteners & cheap aspirin. Taste is bitter grains, something musty, wet hay, aspartame-type sweeteners, expired aspirin,… Fizzy. Tempted to call this bad by even African beer standards. “The Queen of Beers”? Oh, lord.
