Bottled (thanks omhper!). Hazy golden colour with particles floating around. Head is mediumsized and white. Aroma is pretty much lemon, some slight glueish alcohol, wood and some yeast. Flavour is fruity, lots of peach, some glueish alcohol and caramel malts. Apples and some grassyness in the finish. Fruity, but bittery aftertaste.

bottle - Pours lightly hazy golden with a tw finger white head. It smells of sweet, bready malt, coriander, and citrus esters. The flavor is of sweet Belgian malt that buries the 10% abv along with yeasty fruit notes. It’s medium to full bodied and bubbly with a dry finish. Very nice. I see it’s a little over three years old. It’s holding up just fine so far. I wouldn’t be afraid to keep the bottle longer if you have one.

750 mL bottle shared by cdumler. Thanks! Pours a hazy peach color with a medium head. Great head retention and lacing. Lots of floating particles. Aroma is very fruity with green apples and citrus with some herbal notes. Taste is yeast, green apple, cherry, citrus and the same herbal note that reminds me a bit of celery. Medium bodied.

Slightly hazy deep golden coloured body with a very thin off-white head. Aroma of wheat, curacao, yeast and coriander seed - definitely a tripel. Full-bodied; Sweet taste of wheat and curacao up front with some yeast right behind. Aftertaste shows some clean flavour and some sweetness that lasts for quite sometime. Overall, a nice one to try - a good tripel. Not great, but very respectable. I sampled this 75 cL bottle purchased from Norm’s in Vienna, Virginia.

Rating 1500!Sampled from a 750 ml brown bottle this one was a bit of a gusher pouring a dark orange-ochre color with a large orange-amber head. The aroma was yeasty, caramel, butterscotch and a notes of pear and apple. The flavor was sweetish, tangy butterscotch and caramel. There was a light fruity undertone and the typical yeasty bready Unibroue house character. The alcohol showed through a bit and there was a hint of cognac. Decent but nothing special.

A hazy blonde ale with a thick white head. A pleasant aroma of coriander, Curacao, catnip, very herbaceous. In mouth, a light sweet candy sugar, with orange peels, coriander, and light pears. A nice alcohol warmth. Medium bodied. Tasted around Jan 2007.

Bottle marked January 6, 2006. Beer went down well with Asian style ribs, fried rice and bok choy (lemon pound cake for desert). Pours with a larish, white head covering an opaque yellow body. Strong lacing. Aroma of spice, yeast, apples and pears. Taste is yeasty, dry and pretty straight forward. Not overly complex, but alcohol is well hidden for sure! Dry and slightly lively natural carbonation.

A sweet, dry Belgian full of Belgian fruitiness. The clear golden body was topped with a creamy white head. Heavy aroma of caramel, raisin, plum and apple. Lighter sense of flowers. The flavor is moderately bitter and acidic and lightly bitter. Lively carbonation in a medium body. Very nice.
