After years of commemorating our anniversary with deliciously wild and weird ales, we decided to mix it up a bit and create our first Anniversary Lager. SEVENTEEN is a celebration and case study of the aromas and flavors of German hops. And knowing our fetish for those beautiful green cones, you can be confident that the contents of this bottle are excessively hopped for your olfactory pleasure. Many thanks to all and we hope you enjoy our lupulin dissertation. Peace to all and follow your dreams! Brewed with Rocky Mountain water, malted barley, imported German hops, and German yeast.

Bottled. Very dark brown, rich firm head. Toffee and milk chocolate is dominant. Sweet with well sized body and clean mouthfeel, notes of molasses. Fruity and dried out by grassy hops. Alcohol plays a significant part too. Dark chocolate finish with some cocoa bitterness. If there is a Double India Black Lager this is it... Some very nice flavours, but a bit clean and too ramped up in alcohol to work 100%.

Bottled. A brown beer with a red shine under a brown head. The aroma has notes of roastes malt and citrusy hops. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, citrus, and over ripe fruits, leading to a very bitter finish.

Bottle 65 cl. Courtesy of joergen. Pours a dark brown with an orange hue and a dense and creamy beige head leaving laces. Great and fresh hoppy - citrusy - nose with some roast and vanilla. Solid body, hard roasted malts, herbal and spicy hopping with a dry and malty bitterness. Clearly some alcohol in the finish also. 110910

Bottle thx to Ekstedt, 2010-09-04, Göteborg AR: american hops, cream AP: pitch black, 3 cm frothy head, pale beige head, steady, steady F: fudge, great bitterness, chocolate, coffey, actually a bit sprity - but since I didn’t start to "waste" beer during the tasting so I was resistant to that flavor:-)
