Another very nice rendition of that awesome stout. Sweet, honey, thick, coffee and rich in the base. Good bit of cognac layered on that, but it's still not all sweet. Could maybe use a bit more barrel, but delicious nonetheless.

Big one pint bottle, 11 % abv, shared by Finn. Pours a rocky, tan-coloured head leaving lacing rings down the glass. Dark brown body. Dark malty aromas with chocolate notes, nicely roasted. Rich taste profile of honeyed dark malts, chocolate, molasses and oak, Warming grainy chocolate towards a long-lived ending. Fine depth. Enjoying sipper, perfect for sharing. (Session with Snegurochka, TheCellarer and Finn at Finns in Tromsø, 21.09.2018).

Bottle, shared by Bergstaden. It's a dark brown to black colored beer with a finger-thick light tan head. The aroma is of the roasted kind, with chocolate, coffee, some booze, wood notes, apple hints and brown sugar. Roasted malts, coffee, chocolate, a touch of sourness, wood, licorice hints and brown sugar in the flavor. Full body and a nice carbonation. Smooth, lightly warming. Long roasted, smooth and chocolatey finish with coffee and dark sugar. Really pleasant this one, but probably a bit off. 180922

Svart. Lavt mokkafarget skum. Søt cognac-aroma. Smaken søt brandy. Ble mere spesiell en god.
