Draft - Nice sweet barrel notes. Jet brown black with a rich light brown head. Dark chocolate, some burnt chocolate and woody notes. Light sweet cognac, but mainly woody notes.

650ml bottle at Jonny’s during Eclipses 2016 tasting. Pours an opaque dark brown with a strong dark beige head. Aroma is barrel notes, some sweetness, dark fruits and very slight cognac. Taste is pretty the same with a big fruitiness. Strong dark fruits and roasted malt aftertaste. Good.

Bottle, thanks SirLimpsalot. Black with a tan head. Aroma of chocolate, cognac and some oak. Similar taste,also some licorice and light vanilla. Smooth and nicely drinkable. A tasty one.

Bottle @ tasting at Joes shared by Joes. Opaque black color, average to decently sized beige head. Aroma is absolutely lovely, cognac not too powerful, malts, some vanilla. Taste malts, cognac, vanilla-ish hints, light chocolate hints in the background as well, malt bitter, chocolate bitter. Medium body and suitable average carbonation. Lovely.

Bottle from Beermongers. Pours a jet black color with a large beige head. A big vinous nose, roast, licorice. This is the smoothest Eclipse I’ve had, dark grapes, smooth oak, licorice, light cocoa, chocolate, smooth cognac finish. Lovely beer. One of the best Eclipse variants.

Non Beer Trip Beer Trip Beer #32. Bomber shared by alexsdad06, 3/9/16. Dark brown, thin foamy tan head, good retention. Aroma of cognac, grapes, roasted malts, booze. The taste is roasted malts, booze, oak, chocolate, cherries. Medium bodied, low carbonation, hot.

Bomber from the brewpub. Pours dark brown with a tan head. Aroma is Brandy with a lot of smooth dark treacly malt. Full bodied. Flavor is chocolate, Brandy, dark treacle, wood. Wowser. Brandy all the way, but not in a flavor obstructing way.
