Biggish offwhite head. Amber body. Fruity papery aroma with earthy notes. Sweetish-dry earthy roasty dusty taste with papery notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, dusty mouthfeel. Dryish chalky resiny floral aftertaste with herbal notes. Nice, drinkable, and has some character. Bitterness is a bit harsh. (0.5l bottle, Amundsen, Oslo.)

0.5l bottle @ Henrik, Bergen shared with ClubGonzo. Pours a dark cloudy orange body with a one fingersize off-white head. Aroma is fatty butter, honey, hints of nuts and dark malts. Taste is quite bitter with a distinct walnutty flavor combined with caramel, some fruits and malts. The body is nice and slick, really slick to be a 4.6% ale and the carbonation is medium+. Dy and bitter finish and it leaves a slightly floral aftertaste. Quite nice!

500 ml bottle, from Vaaland, Bryne. ABV is 4.6%. Amber colour, large head, slightly off-white. Fairly strong aroma of grassy and herbal Hallertauer hops, a hint of honey. The flavour has a decent balance between the malts and hops, with herbal and honeyish notes, also some caramel, but the beer is not too sweet. Moderate Columbus hops in the finish. Not bad.

Bottle @ Kvickly, Odense. Pours dark golden with a lasting white head on top. Sweet nose with bread and a bit of diacetyl. Flavor is peach, sweet malty and grassy again with a vague hint of diacetyl. Medium bodied. A bit disappointed

ChrisOs Christmas Tasting. Clear amber beer. Big creamy off white head. Soft palate, zero carbonation. Another sweet malty beer in this run of bland sweet malty Danish beers at this tasting. Feel the need for a Mikkeller pick me up!
