The name says it all. BBVD is our big bad seasonal stout made with copious amounts of chocolate and roasted malts and topped off with the right amount of hops to make it taste like a chocolate bar au natural. Good to drink now or age it to award winning caliber.

Can 355ml @ gunnfryd. Pours black with a tan head. Aroma has notes of roasted malt, chocolate, caramel, coffee and alcohol. Taste is medium to heavy sweet and medium bitter with a long warm, roasted, chocolate, coffee and caramel finish. Body is full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Can. A dark brown one, topped by a small, beige head. The aroma is nice but a bit dull or straight forward. Roasted malts, coffee notes, a light burnt hint and some chocolate in the flavor. Toffee notes. It's medium to full-bodied, lightly warming and semi-sweet, with a gentle bitterness. Roasted malts, coffee, toffee and burnt notes, with dark chocolate and toffee. Lasting finish. Nice, but a bit dull, in a strange way. 241123

Bortimot svart med beige skum. Lukter mørke bær, sjokolade. Forholdsvis mye kullsyre. Lett til å være en imperial. noe søtt og salt. Salt lakris, sjokolade. Får ikke helt tak i det søte. Kanskje søt karamell, vanilje. God. men skulle ønske litt mer fylde.
