Dark brown colored, medium- creamy beige head. Aroma is of malt, some caramel, some dried fruit, vanilla, coffee, coffee beans. Taste is medium to very sweet malt, caramel, some chocolate, coffee and coffee candy, vanilla, some dried fruit, medium roasty bitterness, some alcohol, dry coffee finish and aftertaste, warming finish. Medium to full bodied, soft+ carbonation, creamy. Interesting and uncommon but a little raw. (bottle, Bierhalle Deconinck, Vichte)

Pours clear, very dark copper red. Medium, creamy white head. Smell is coffee. Taste is sharp, roasty, coffee, bit bitter. Big burn notes from the coffee, that also provide a green bean aspect to the beer. Medium to medium thick body, medium high carbo. Bit sharp. Too espresso forward to me

Tap at Arendsnest, 21st February 18. Pours an amazing red, like a fruit beer. Extra marks for this. Aroma is like a coffee stout. Taste is intense, coffee, sweet, some bitterness and a grainy coffee chocolate finish. Good muck.

Bottle at the 11th Brugge beer Festival, Brugge, Belgium. A very dark red/brown coloured pour with a off white head on top. Roasty, malty, coffee, smoke on the nose. Tastes roasty, malty, coffee, smoke, slight chocolate, pretty unusual and complex. Liked it.

Bottle from Geers. Beautiful dark red/orange colour, lots of creamy foam, stays long. Aroma: very sweet nose: caramel, vanilla, sweet chocolate. Taste is roasty, green coffee, very sweet vanilla, earthy harsh bitter finish.. Too much vanilla which I don't really like in beer along with the earthiness, not a very nice combo.

Wow. It's an Imperial Stout full of coffee, chocolate and nut flavours, but it's red!

At Brugs Bierfestival, 3 February 2018. Cheers to Anke, Ian, Kevin & Jerre!

Cloudy brown/red with a small, tan head. Complex aroma of coffee roast, earth, beetroot, dark chocolate, roasted malt and herbs. Tastes light to medium malty/chocolatey sweet and light to medium roasted bitter; ending 'earthy', herbal and dry with a bit of alcohol. Medium body, oily/creamy texture, soft carbonation. Truly inventive and original.
