Porter brewed with vanilla (Vanilla Pompona) and English chocolate malt.

Bottle courtesy Saxo. Creamy lightbrown excellent fully lasting head. Dark red-amber colour. Heavy malty and light hopy aroma. Loads of light chocolate notes. Light sweet and bitter flavor. Overwhelaming light chocolate notes. Almost like liquid chocolate. Moderate light bitter finish. Oily palate.

330ml champagne bottle packaging bought at Systembolaget Klarabergsgatan in Stockholm. Decent brownish head with some retention. Deep palisander coloured body. Mocha aroma developing in the direction of o’boy. Milk chocolate as a starting point in the flavour before the spiced, fruity acidity sets in. An interesting experiment, but not particular successful (Tromsø, 24.10.2010).

My beautiful lady brought this back from Sweden for me. Little pop from the cap, but it pours well out of nice looking bottle and has a medium head. Aroma is big with sweet baked goods. After reading the description it is definitely vanilla and it works well. Flavor however lack a little but, a bit mineral and the vanilla is lost. Basically, the extra vanilla makes the aroma real nice but the flavor is lagging behind.

330ml Bottle - Dark brown with a foamy head. Roasted and chocolatey aroma with hints of coffee and vanilla. Vanilla is very noticeable (perhaps a bit too much) in the taste along with notes of chocolate and roasted malt.

33 cl bottle from Systembolaget.Sampled on September 18, 2010Dark brown to black color, big tan head. Smells very much of vanilla, also a bit roasted. Taste is as well dominated by the vanilla, with some roasted and coffee notes. Also chocolate in both scent and taste. Medium to smoth mouthfeel, low bitterness.I’d like them to tone down the vanilla quite a bit, way too much for my liking.

A nice 0.33l bottle from Systembolaget Hansacompagniet in Malmő, Poured a strange unclear brown body with a small tan head. Lovely distincthly chocolatey aroma, sweetened cocoa, not much vanilla. The chocolate pops up again carrying some vanilla in the taste but the taste is quite watery actually. Some roastiness. The bitterish hop finish/aftertaste doesn’t mix well.
