bottle from biershop-bayern.de. Clear golden colour, large off-white head. Hoppy aroma with a touch of lemon. Full-bodied, malty, hints of honey, very shy hints of caramel. Resiny-grassy hops, again with a tiny touch of lemon. Very nice.

Dezent herb-süßer Antrunk, was einen guten Anfang bildet. 11/6/6/5/9/6

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Pours a clear golden with a white head. The nose is malty sweet with a vague tartness. Medium body, clean malts and a little caramel. Subdued hops - and again a vague tartness. 170910

Screw-cap bottle: Golden coloured, visible carbonation, mid-sized white head with a little lace, clean, mild bisquity nose with sweet grains and a hoppy tinge; soft MF, medium bodied; flavour is more sweet than bitter; mild sweet-bisquity, a bit fruity (raspberries) finish with some very late hops. O.K., quite nice.......

(screw cap bottle) Clear, golden colour with a medium-sized foamy white head. Sweet, strawy malt aroma with a light grainy touch, notes of marzipan and a faint hoppy, slightly herbal background. Solid malty base, strawy and subtle fruity taste with soft herbal accents in the wings; medium to light bodied with a moderate carbonation; moderately dry, malty sweet-bitter finish with soft hoppy notes. Not overwhelming but a pleasant to drink, easy going Festbier.
