Keg @ Booth Wood Inn, Rishworth. Clear paler golden coloured cider with a good carbonation. Has a tangy, but strong apple flavour that lingers

568ml bottle. Clear golden colour, thin white foam head and aroma of juicy apple, sugary. Fruity apple flavour, some sweetness with apple juice and tangy notes. Fizzy mouthfeel, light to medium bodied, highly carbonated, medium dry finish. OK cider.

Bottled. Yellowish golden colour, small white head. Aroma is vinegar, wood, some apple juice and not too much else. Flavour is apple, vinegar, wood and some slight vinous notes. Rather empty in the flavour. Not good.

568ml bottle from my "oh my god has it come to this?" dash through the Sainsburys cider department. Light gold clear colour with very thin collar of bubbles. White wine and apple aroma. Touch of cheesy puke. Odd aromas for a cider. Strangely underpowered cider. In the mouth it is light and strangely devoid of apples. Yes there is some apple flavour on the finish. But again it is light. A medium dry cider I suppose with notes of both sweetness and touch of acidity dryness on the finish. It’s just not very much of a drink and not something I would ever think about drinking again. It’s not terrible (althought the aroma is pretty naff) but just not something I like or would want to drink again.

Bottle 568ml. clear glass.Clear light yellow color with a small to average, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, fully diminishing, white head. Aroma is moderate apple, sour apple, dry apple, vanilla notes, strange apple aroma not artificial apples and not naturel apple either ! Flavor is moderate sweet with a average to long duration, dry. Body is light medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20100917]

Bottle 56,8 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Pours a clear yellow with a lacing white head. Somewhat strange and artificial apple aroma. Medium body, dry, tart and sulphurous with discreet apple accents. Ends dry. Fairly poor. 170910

Bottle from Sainsburys. Stewed apple aroma with a touch of spice. Flavour was sour, slightly acidic and vaguely reminiscent of bile. Fortunately the finish was medium dry and a bit more positive. Not the worst cider, but not one I would rush to drink again.
