Virtually black with a frothy, beige head. Aroma of toasted grains, dark chocolate and blueberry syrup. Taste is bitter and strongly roasted. Finishes much the same, accompanied by a faint, blueberry pie sweetness. I like the subtleness of the blueberries here. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, warm to boozy at the finish, where the alcohol needs to be better disguised. Decent bock.

Aus der Flasche im 2025-02 getrunken. "Heidelbeere trfft Schokolade", so heißt es! Doch wo sollen diese Aromen sein? Leider nicht in dieser Flasche. Es bleib ein normaler gut gemachter Bock doch ohne die große angekündigte Besonderheit eine echte Enttäuschung!

Toffee, roasted & blueberry aroma.
Medium bodied, creamy with a dry back.
Malt, toffee, blueberry, roasted & liquorice tastes with a burnt finish.
Rather similar to an Irish Dry Stout - Nice.

Bottle drunk in mid spring after a tasty Zettler Fleischpflanzerl and some spicy guac & chips. Quite dark brown, tall light brown head. Nose is spicy roasted grain with an indeterminate berry hint. On the tongue it's a great balance of cacao, bitterness, and light brown sugary sweetness with a hint of mystery fruit (which the label informs me is blueberry). Not too sweet, smooth big bitterness. Very nice Bock!

Fast schwarze Farbe mit roten Reflexen; Dichte, relativ stabile Schaumkrone. In der Nase dunkles Malz, Kakao, helle Schokolade, dunkle Beerenfrucht. Im Geschmack malzig, trotz kräftigem Körper relativ frisch, leicht beerig-fruchtig, deutliche Hopfenbittere, trocken und süß zugleich.
