“This Collab with Odell Brewing from Fort Collins (USA) is a twisted blonde brewed with almond and cocoa. We kept the malt bill back to let the nuts and cocoa be in the lead. The cocoa (from De Zaan in Wormer) is not roasted to enhance the fruity aspects of the cocoa. All together the end result is a beer that is rich and creamy, with nutty and fruity flavors. “

Bottle at home. Aroma is malty and a bit nutty with floral notes, some yeast and a touch of bubblegum from the hops in the finish. Only a very slight hint of cocoa. Flavour is moderate sweet and light bitter. Body is medium. Well, this is certainly a disappointment, only mildly nutty and where’s the big chocolate??

Bottled August 31, 2016, drunk 1/28/2024. Deep bronze-brass, clear, with a small, white head sitting at cover. Chocolatey, with fruity yeast and some cracker and biscuit. Moderately sweet, it seems. Clean. Nutty, chocolatey, light graham cracker and vanilla. Straightforward maltiness, light spice and earth. Uhh, this is competent, albeit strange and very not compelling. Wish there was more yeast character and less choco-almond. Very strange that that's the case at 8 years old....that said, it's impressively lacking almost any oxidation.

Bottle. Blonde. Nutty floral caramelly aroma with milk chocolate. Nutella flavor with soft floral notes and hints of citrus. Sweet. Slightly disappointing.

4 oz. sample at El Bait Shop, De Monies, Iowa. Aroma has light malt, chocolate bar hints and smashed nuts. Maybe just a mild floral hop hiding in there. Taste is malty and semi-sweet with chocolate and more of the smashed nuts. It also does have a light floral hop that helps cut the sweet candy bar. Finish is almost bone dry.

Bottle @ home. Clear golden orange colour with a head that doesn’t last. Smells sweet, malts, meaty. Tastes yeasty, malts, grains, dry, hint of chocolate. Too much carbo, thin to medium body.
