Bottiglia.

Cask at Pigs Ear 2014 - London. Pours clear yellow with a foamy white head. Lots of ginger in this one, some simplistic pale bread, light bitter straw. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Sweet finish with further ginger and straw character. OK.

Gravity dispense at Pigs Ear ’14, day 1, 02/12/14. Very lightly hazed golden with a moderate off white covering. Nose is pale malt, citric rinds, light herbal notes, grassy, bitter lemon. Taste comprises straw, pale malt, hint of vanilla, orange pith. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. So so GB, not offensive, just a little pedestrian.

Cloudy amber beer, big frothy white head. Light dry palate, a little frothy. Fresh and crispy. A little citrus under some nice aromatic and mellow ginger. A few other spices. Crispy dry finish. For a spiced beer this is not bad at all.

Tap, 100ml sample at Open Baladin Roma. Amber-gold appearance, laces quite well. Floral hop aroma, as well as a spicy bite. Fruity taste with lemony hops joined by a little bit of honey sweetness and herbal bitter dryness towards the ending. Refreshing (Roma, 31.03.2012).
