Inhaler is our pale ale/IPA hybrid designed to showcase some of the punchy new world hop varieties which work so well in modern hop forward beers. Pale malt, a little crystal malt for extra body, low bitterness and then six different hops! Super fruity, super ripe, super juicy and super drinkable. Breathe it in!

Can at the Old Bicycle Shop, Cambridge. Very dark orange/gold. The colour of Donald Trump’s remnant of a soul. For a supposed juice bomb, there’s very little odour. A bit of tangerine and some candy sugar. Taste is another dimension: sweet and fruity with good hop balance. Bitterness in the shortish finish. Verdict: tries to be Bloody Ell or Juice Box and it just isn’t. For a brewery as competent as Magic Rock I expected a lot more. However on its own merits it’s drinkable if bland, and can certainly hold its own. Probably the best of the three beers I’ve had tonight.

I was expecting a complex New England IPA but got a pretty standard session IPA with a pretty thin palate. The aromas is very biscuity with loads of pine resin and some peach. The taste is similar, but it all just disappears from the palate a little too quickly.
