’Pêche’ based on witbier and one of many examples of a trend fortunately going downwards since a few years. Cream white, sticky head, pinkish pale blonde colour, misty as an ordinary witbier. Strong sweet peach aroma, pineapple in syrup, lemonade, grain. Taste cloyingly sweet, very strongly dominated by peach juice and peach extracts, light wheatiness piercing through, thin mouthfeel with a watery finish. I sincerely hate these sweet fruit beers based on witbier and the fact that they are declining now, seems to demonstrate that the audience for them isn’t as big as brewers seemed to think five years ago. That said, I’ve had even worse than this.

Hazy golden colour with a white head. Both flavour and aroma are trule peach. So if you do not like peach....do not buy it. Otherwise feel free. It is a fine and fresh "beer" in the sun.

330 ml bottle. Hazy orange body with a creamy white head. Aroma of peaches – and nothing else. Flavor is mostly sweet peaches, or more specific – like a rather neutral wit or blond with a big dose of peach-syrup. Served ice cold, as recommended on bottle this might feel a bit refreshing, at least it is pretty heavy carbonated and there is no real off flavors (if you don’t consider peach syrup to be an off flavor!). Frankly I don’t see the point at all with this, if I wanted a soda pop I would by myself a soda pop – not a novelty beer. Probably made for tourists that don’t really like beer but want to bring home a crazy souvenir from Brussels.

Bottle. A dense, off-white head sits on top of an unclear, yellow-golden body. Nice lacings. The aroma has peaches, peaches and more peaches, all in a sugary candy-like way. It’s medium bodied and almost sticky, with pleasant carbonation. Peachy, candy-like flavor and finish, not much beery things going on. Well, it doesn’t taste bad, but it’s a rather unbeery experience drinking it. Don’t think I’ll have more of this. 110601

330 ml bottle, as Brussels Fruit Beer Peaches, courtesy of Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 3.2%. Hazy peach-coloured beer, huge white head. Strong and beguiling aroma of peaches and peach candy. Sweet flavour (too sweet) with notes of canned peaches in light syrup. Not much else than the foamy head here to remind you that this actually is a beer. Still a a tolerable refreshment when you want a fruit drink with little alcohol.

Bottled. A hazy yellow beer with a bit of red shine under a huge white head. The aroma has strong notes of peaches. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of peaches and a bit of wheat, leading to a sweet peachy finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Pours a cloudy very pale yellow with a lacing white head. Intense and sweet peach aroma. Light body, soft mouthfeel, very sweet peach aroma - probably artificial but nice nonetheless. Ends sweet. 080910
