500ml bottle (5% ABV) from Booth’s Knutsford: BBD end of July 15. Poured into an 8 Sail Brewery badged, tall pint sleeve at home on 15th Dec 14. Golden and clear body, smooth white blanket on top. Hop lead in the nose and taste, mini citrus feel to both. Malts never far away but always playing second fiddle to the hops. Marmalade flavours as it warms a little: Decent.

Clear golden color, good white head, lace. English hoppy aroma with light spicey and fruity note and some yeast. Medium-bodied. Fruity and a bit yeasty flavor. Sweetish peachy and citrusy hoppy notes. Very English.

500ml bottle. Clear golden colour with average, thick, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Fruity aroma has notes of gosseberry, red berries, a touch of apricot, hints of floral hop. Taste is minimally sweet pale malty, fruity hints of gosseberry, red berries, hints of apricot, a peppery spicy touch, dry, minimally herbal hoppy overtones that turn floral in the finish. Really nice, the golden colour worked as red herring concerning my expectations.

Cask at The Great Western during the RateBeer Black Country Bus Bash. Pours golden with a fine white head. Some citrus in the aroma, dry pale bread too. Light sweet flavor with hay, faint metal, dried orange. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Fairly sweet to finish with more dried citrus. OK
