Cask at the Ale House, Reading. An attractive dark copper colour with a loose cream head; aroma of deeply roasted malts with a hint of coffee grounds; soft and fruity in the mouth with a burnt toffee taste; and a dry earthy finish. Perhaps a touch over done.

Handpump (cask) at Buskers pub Rome-Italy. Grazie Valerio. Pours a dark amber color, hazy/cloudy with a nice frothy foamy head. Nose: ouh boy! Nutty, peanuts, coffee. Such a peculiar bitter nose! Great. Mouth: watery in a good way, nutty, balanced bitterness. Great, different and with a session drinking "different" orientation. Just great! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
